When I save a video clip it only records the previous 2 seconds instead of 2 minutes. How do I fix this?

Im talking about when you hold the share button and click square to capture video of previous 2 minutes, or whatever you set it to.

Mine is only recording 2 previous seconds. However playing around with it has somehow let me record previous 01:28.. still not right.

Hard drive has plenty of space as well.
