Anyone ever get a refurb from GameStop/EB Games?

Just wondering your experiences. Looking at getting one for my girlfriend for a second PS4 so we can play together. Any horror stories? Mostly a good experience? Let me know people. Looking at an original PS4 for $270 versus the same model for $250 or a slim for $300 at the local sketchy pawn shop
