Concerned about my Astros and Uncharted Lost Legacy

When I go to audio settings my only option when my headphones are plugged in is “stereo headphones” and other 2.0 channels. When I UNPLUG my Astros, I get the option for many 5.1 channels as well as a “surround headphones”. Did I set up my headphones in correctly?
