Issues with youtube app?

My PS4 is rather old, but I've been having a particular problem all day today.

I was on the ps4 YouTube app and after every couple of minutes of watching a video it would freeze and I wouldn't be able to load another, then I exit the app and try to test my connection like going to the store or overwatch. But it says I'm straight up disconnected from the server.

However all my other devices are using the wifi perfectly, anyone having a similar problem?

EDIT: The issue has extended to Hulu, so it's not just youtube. But I can't change the title of the post.
