Late to the party, just got a PS4. Will Titanfall 2 (on sale) scratch my FPS itch?

I noticed it’s on sale. I had a PS3 long ago, and loved Battlefield for it, but it seems crazy expensive now. I noticed Titanfall 2 is on sale, so was thinking of snagging it. I’m a light player, with multiplayer being something I love, but a bit of a pain with my unreliable internet. I can’t swing the $ for Battlefield 1 right now, but the TF2 sale makes me wonder if I should just dive into it for now?

Thoughts?!
