[NA] Has anyone had greater success getting a refund by calling Sony opposed to live chat?

Self explanatory title.

Curious if anyone has had greater success calling them as opposed to live chatting. Seems like it's nothing but pure copy and paste responses from whatever contact center it's based out of, I assume it's not NA.

Never have called Sony before so instead of wasting my time prior figured I'd test the waters if anyone has faired better doing so.
