Ps4 Backwards compatibility why is don't holding out

Yea I understand PlayStation now is available but In my opinion it's terrible that us consumers should have to pay to play games that we could play for free because we already have them. Not to mention I haven't see black ops 2 anywhere in plays station now which was my favorite game on ps3 so it leaves me a little frustrated that we the supporters of Sony who have given them billions of dollars can't get something as "simple" as backwards compatibility
