Razer Raiju is a premium controller designed for competetive FPS players out there and it costs 179 euros. I'm writing this post to give heads up to anyone that do not waste your money on this product.
First of all, the controller is amazing. Everything feels amazing and butter smooth. I'd say buy Razer Raiju instead of Scuf if they didn't have this one, very serious hardware issue. You can get 24 months warranty on this one vs 3 months on Scuff.
The hardware issue is right analog stick having intermittent lag. There is noticeable delay. Here is an example video, not made by me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgVdoxTENIo It is very difficult to keep your aim at target in longer distances. I've still managed to get a couple De-Atomizer Strikes on Infinite Warfare even with this issue, but it is still noticeably and anyone who can use original DualShock 4 just fine will kill you at CQC because of the intermittent lag.
There is a firmware update to fix the intermittent lag. So why I am complaining? I was in contact with Razer Support and they said the periphereals team is aware of the issues regarding using the firmware updater on Windows 10. They said use it on a different PC that has Windows 7, 8 or 8.1. I tried today on Windows 8.1, but I get the same error over and over again.
So there it is guys. 179 euros is the price of three DS4, but I was very happy with my purchase. I was aware of the issue before buying, but I thought I could download the firmware but no, Razer did something very wrong and this issue has been present for at least 5 months.
I'm returning my controller at local retailer tomorrow so I get full cash-back but just wanted to let you guys know here.
The thing is, update v. 1.11 FIXES the intermittent lag, but I get the same error on three different PC's so it's Razers fault. If you do have any clue how to fix this, let me know so I don't have to return this because I really love this controller <3
