I have 3 controllers in front of me. Controller A is 2/3 weeks old. Controllers B and C are literally fresh out of the box. The issue I am having is when I pull either one of the analogs in a specific direction (usually downwards 5/6/7 oclock) I get a clicking noise like something is rubbing against the underside of the analog, almost like a bump. You can physically feel it occur with your thumb as you move the stick. Sometimes the input it gives me past the point where it clicks is incorrect or sometimes doesn't register at all.
Controller A - Replaced another controller that did the same thing, but on both analogs, the controller before that same thing but in the right analog. I bought this controller through amazon. Controller B was the replacement for Controller A, which also does the same thing right out of the box.
Controller C I just picked up from Walmart for the same price Amazon sells them for. Out of the Box, same thing, but it's more around 4/5 oclock on the left analog.
Doesn't occur if I pull the analog in any other direction. I have tried 2 different stores with almost the same result, I don't really know what to do at this point. Getting a refund from Amazon, probably return this to Walmart. Amazon said they are going to pull the Black DS4 Controllers from the Online Store until they figure out whats going on. Don't really know what to do at this point. Standard DS4 Controller is the only thing under 100$.
