Are future games going to perform like The Last Guardian? Deciding between Slim and Pro.

Or is TLG just a one off? The price difference is about ~$150 in my country. Slim is priced at $449 and the Pro at $599(incl. extra controller) with that extra cash I could get like 2-3 used games.

Are there other games where I'm better off getting a Pro for? I plan to play pretty much all of the exclusives like Nioh, Persona 5, HZD, Bloodborne etc.

 

A little bit of information on what my situation is like;

The PS4 will be my primary gaming platform and I will be playing on a 1440p 27" monitor.

I have no intentions of getting a 4k TV or PSVR in the near future.

I don't mind forking out the extra dough for the Pro but I was just wondering if it's worth it? From what I've seen the exclusives are pretty well optimized for the base model, but stuff like TLG and Nier running at 900p is slightly off-putting. Neither of which are high up my to play list but yeah...
