Coming Back Home! What Are The Best PS4 Games?

I've made my mind up to get a PS4, hence why I've made this thread. Though I can already sense that most of you will probably kill me for this, I've been a casual gamer for a few years now. I owe an Xbox One Slim, and let's just say, I've been very unimpressed with the console. I grew up with the likes of the Sega Mega Drive, PS1, PS2 (still my all time favourite console), Nintendo GameCube, GameBoy Colour, GameBoy Advance SP, Nintendo DS, PSP, Nintendo Wii, PS3, and the Xbox 360.

Ever since I sold my PS3 as a young teen to get an Xbox 360 (I know, I know haha), I've pretty much stuck with Microsoft, and became an 'achievement hunter' at times, which is why I'm on here. However, after seeing how great the PS4 has been received and being so sick of my Xbox One S not fulfilling my gaming needs, I'm ready to come back home!

However, I must admit that I know very little about the console. Alongside part of the thread title, there's a few other questions I'd need answered, which I'm hoping members of the community could answer for me. So here goes:

~ What are the best first party games for the PS4?

~ Best exclusive third party games?

~ Best games on the PSN? I heard that 'Twisted Metal' is on there? (one of my favourites as a young child - I know I shouldn't have been playing it haha!) Are there old PSP games on there? Do those games have trophies?

~ Is the VR worth getting? I know it costs a bomb though.

~ Do you have to pay for PSN membership? I'm Northern Ireland/UK based, so if so - how much is it?

~ What are the best features and aspects of the console itself? Any exclusive apps too etc.

~ Are PS3, PS2, or PS1 games backwards compatible with the console?

~ Best things about the console?
