Downgrading from beta-software

Hey guys,

I can see that my PS4, running beta 5.0, has downloaded the 4.74 software, and I would like to downgrade. When I check the softwareupdate, it gives me two options. A new beta version or the 4.74. Is it really as simple, as choosing 4.74? Will the beta software be completely removed? - That's what I'm going for.
