Hello everybody, just a random person with a huge issue.
Just to give a bit of intel the ps4 in question before i get into the story:
It's a normal PS4 using a 3TB Seagate HHD via the Nyko data bank.
During vacation I brought a PS4 alongside me to play a few games. After quite awhile of gaming the PS4 Froze up, and in response I attempted to restart the system. I feel that may be an error on my part but that's when the error started appearing:
Cannot Start PS4. Cannot Access system storage Press the power button for 1 second (until the system beeps) to turn off the PS4. (CE-34335-8)
After that, I attempted to do some research in the matter, which led me to the instruction to attempt to run the ps4 in safe mode, which only led to the same error.
So with this I have two main issues: First being the inability to even use the PS4. I cannot use the HHD to even go into safe mode to even begin seeing what I can do about reset/repair/ect. I haven't managed to do it with any 3.5 HHD at the moment (attempted with a 1TB and 500GB WD HHD I had on hand). It does work for the original HHD however that brings problem two.
I want to find a way to preserve the save files on the broken machine. Is it possible to transfer save files, or everything if possible from one HHD to another, even if both HHDs are the exact same size and brand? This question and problem is the more important of the two as I can live with a shorter size amount for now, but as long as the saves are good I'm perfectly happy. Can anyone help?
