If anyone has any advice I'd very much appreciate it.
My friends ps4 continually ejects discs and has done for a while. He contacted Sony whilst his ps4 was still in warranty and was provided with advices on fixes. None worked so he contacted them again and was told the cost of repair would be £150 or there abouts.
He didn't pay the fee and now his ps4 is out of warranty. Frustrated with higher costs of digital downloads and not being able to play discs he's considering jumping ship to Xbox.
My question is was he misquoted the £150 to fix a machine still under warranty? If so how likely are Sony to rectify this problem now?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
