Help me pick a racing game?

Hey everyone. I came here wondering if you could help me pick a racing game for my PS4. I've narrowed it down to Gran Turismo Sport and Project Cars 2, both scheduled to be released in the next month or two.

I'm a casual racing game player; I think the only one I've owned was Need for Speed: Carbon on the classic Xbox way back when. I plan to use a controller rather than a steering wheel (at least currently). Personally I value graphics, range of cars, and realism, but these don't have to be the ultimate deciding factors.

I know this may be hard since both games aren't out yet, but I was hoping that those with better intuition, racing game experience, and knowledge about what these games will have could point me in the right direction. I have done some research already but would appreciate any input. Thanks!
