PS Now asks for cash on account-wallet for Trial???

So, finally PS Now is available in Germany. I'm willing to try it out, may be to play some Killzone 2. BUT! When I go thru "get trial" process, app asks for payment info, which is already attached, PayPal. AND it asks to topup at least 5euros to my wallet. WHY? O_o... am I doing something wrong? It is kinda stupid, to ask for cash for free trial ? edit:spelling
