Question about the PS Vita & Remote Play

Is there any way of changing the controls?

I'm playing Ark and some other games, and having L1 and R1 switched with the L2 & R2 configuration (not a fan of the touchpad only seems to work sometimes) would be perfectly in almost every case.

Alternatively, any advice on how to actually use the touch pad? I just can't seem to get the hang of it, and end up pressing it like 6 times to get it pressed once... if that makes any sense.
