Quick question about sharing Plus.

I'm kinda new to the PS4. Ive had an Xbox for about 6 years and just switched over a few months ago. My friends tell me that as long as 1 account has PlayStation Plus, other accounts can play online. I'm trying to let my girlfriend play GTA V online but I can't figure out how to get her account online since I'm not comfortable with the PS4 system yet. Could anyone explain how to do this?
