TLDR: my first was TLoU & most recent is MGS.V
just curious if this kinda stuff ever happens to you guys:
im kinda a casual gamer and pick up games that are recommended to me by other people/ratings. my typical behavior is that when i start certain games, i find them really hard, get frustrated, quit, and play something else. then, like months later, ill convince myself to give that game another chance to get my moneys worth, study the controls, somehow get into a groove, then end up addicted to it until i beat it.
the first game i hated was the last of us because i kept getting eaten by zombies. was very frustrating cuz i wasnt sneaky enough and found the controls hard, then ended up glued to it like months later after i "forced" myself to replay it. now im psyched for part 2.
there were probably a few others but the most recent one is MGS.V...i never played a MGS before but when i read that its gonna be free soon, i decided to pop in that disc that i bought and gave up on since like january 2017 ($10 used copy from best buy i think) and after a few hours, im really into it.
in fact i just fell in love with that game and now im starting to see a pattern that when i find a "popular" game really hard, i judge it too quickly, hate it, then come back to it months later and realize what the hype is about.
i hope that same thing eventually happens to my copy of the witcher 3 lol...hate that game and havent touched that disc since the day i brought it home in like nov 2016...
