Which NBA Game (2K or Live) is better this generation?

I know they just recently came out, but I was thinking about purchasing one within the next month or so. I am sort of new to this genre, but I enjoyed playing the Live 18 Demo and I was wondering which game is better for a beginner. Thanks all!
