Any fix for the known wifi issue?

I’m considering trading in my PS4 for a 1tb slim, but I’ve been unable to connect via Wi-fi for months and I think that’s gonna be an issue. I can connect via lan easy enough, but when I try to connect with Wi-fi it says my password is incorrect and gives me the error code nw-31297-2
