Maybe it's just my depression or now I'm 19, have a full time job and a committed relationship lol but over the past year or two I've not been that greatly excited for a game. Maybe it's good so I don't get overhyped and then get disappointed when it's not as good as I hoped but still.... I miss the feeling of being so pumped for new games that I can play with my cousin and friends or even just a vast open world that I can get sucked into.
Games that I am excited for end up having problems or lots of microtransactions which ruins it a bit for me. I never buy the but it always causes some sort of lack of content or something.
In saying that, I have been enjoying Horizon over the past few months and still not completed it and also still playing BF1 and Siege but just not feeling that excitement anymore.
I'd like to know how everyone else is feeling, I hope I'm the minority and you're all excited and happy for any upcoming games and all that :D
Maybe 2018 with God of War, Days Gone and hopefully Battlegrounds on console I'll get really excited again.
