I acquired a PS4 last week, and up until the other day when I bought AK things have been going well. Knight needs a 6 gig update, but my console won't download it. It just says "cannot download" after about 2 gigs or so, and the details just say "error". No error code. I've done a fair amount of Googling, and there are folks with a similar issue, but they always boil down to not having enough hard disk space. I can't possibly have that problem, as I have ~660gb free. I've tried rebuilding the database and removing/reinstalling but no dice. Every piece of DLC downloaded just fine, but this update won't. What gives? Can I download it somewhere else to my PC and load it onto the console with a flash drive?
I've also now tried deactivating/reactivating as primary PS4, changing the DNS to Google's, and even pulled the nuclear option and initialized. Nothing else installed on the machine, the AK update still fails. Is it worth the effort to try and buy a digital copy? I should retain access to the season pass as I bought that digitally as well as the PS4 exclusives from the codes in the case right?
