Controller RMA - horrible experience.

Guess I am just venting.

Sent my controller into RMA. It lost its resistance entirely on one stick. Paid to ship it to sony repair at my expense. Just got it back...unchanged.

I contacted support and they said ship it again on your dime and we will definitely do it this time. Why would I bother? $18 dollars in shipping would of been better off on new controller.

Me: I sent a playstation 4 controller into rma. Just got it back today after two weeks without a controller and its unchanged. The stick lost almost all resistance.

Me: A bit upset because I went two weeks without and even paid for shipping

Gabriel: I’m sorry for any inconvenience that you are experiencing with the PS4 controller you received Robert, I'd be glad to look into this for you today.

Gabriel: By any chance do you have a service case?

Me: Ship Date: 10/17/2017 Case #: -----------

Gabriel: Thank you allow me one moment

Me: ok

Gabriel: Thanks for waiting and we do apologize for the inconvenience we can take a look at it again and we will make sure that this will not happen again

Gabriel: Allow me one moment while I submit a new request to send the controller in for service

Me: No offense but I really don't know what to do. I have to pay to ship it again and loss two more weeks?

Gabriel: Yes but no worries I have left my notes with all of this information and I am sure that you will receive back your controller without any issues

Gabriel: I have created the service case, this is the case number Robert ------- Me: Don't bother. Im not putting another $9 dollars into this.

Gabriel: I totally understand Robert

Gabriel: That is the process we follow in order to send the controller in for service. We apologize for any inconvenience that may cause you

Me: So the solution is I keep paying till I stop?

Me: I have never had to pay for a RMA let alone twice.

Me: These controllers are $40. Im spending half that on a gamble

Me: Thats messed up

Gabriel: Believe me that my intention is to help you as much as I can, and I do place myself in your position but I am afraid my hands are tied in this case,

Me: Sending a box or prepaid slip is really what needs to happen.

Gabriel: Correct but that process is for consoles only Robert
