I ask this as I already own a pair of Astro A40 TRs myself, headset and MixAmp included. I enjoy using them but after using the Senheiser HD 598s from my relative while out of town with a DAC headphone amplifier, I can't go back to any other headset in terms of quality. Does anyone know if connecting the 598's via MixAmp to the PS4 along side a modmic 5 would work? Or is there better alternatives to the mixamp such as a DAC headphone amplifier? Also would the MixAmp 598's + ModMic 5 work on PC?
