Heavy rain worth trying when I didn't enjoy Beyond?

Beyond Two Souls was just okay but got bored halfway through and finished it for the sake of finishing it.

I love decision based games. Huge telltale fan here.

Heavy rain is discounted right now and I'm not sure if I should pull the trigger. Has it aged well? How is the PS4 version? Never had a chance to play it on PS3 because I was a 360 player.

Bonus question: how is Killzone singleplayer? Not interested in MP, probably dead by now anyways.
