So I just recently bought a PS4 off of the Facebook marketplace and I'm having trouble getting the PS4 set up. I get to the screen where it asks me to connect the PS4 controller to the PS4 using a USB cable and when I use the cable (my phone cable, it didn't come with an official Sony one) and press the Playstation button nothing happens but a white flash from the controller. I asked the person who sold it to me if he had any problems like this and he said no, it was working fine. Though he did tell me he wiped his hard drive and I didn't know if that was what was causing the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven't owned a Playstation since Playstation 2 when I was a kid and am unfamiliar with the new system and set up. Thanks in advance.
