How would I go about replacing my dualshock 4?

So I ordered a PS4 a few weeks ago, and it's working fine. The only thing wrong is the dualshock 4. What will happen is I'll be moving my character in a video game, (Bloodborne) and my character will just spin around when ever I try walking using the analog sticks.

I read that the analog sticks might be wore out, and so that leads me here. My PS4 has a warranty on it, so I don't think that's a big deal. I'm just wondering if I should go to the place I bought the PS4 from, bestbuy, or give Sony my Dualshock 4 code and see what they can do.
