I just recently bought a Neewer NW700, how do I get it to work on PS4?

I know people use this for PlayStation but I cannot seem to get it to work. I bought a USB plug replacing the AUX it comes with but the mic doesn’t pick up. I’ve been trying to get a mic working alongside my A40 + Mixamp combo for a while now and it’s been really frustrating so I hope someone can help me resolve this.
