I know I'm late to the party, but Titanfall 2's Frontier Defense mode is a phenomenal co-op experience.

I never played TF1, so jumping into TF2's Frontier Defense was a brand new experience for me. And let me tell you...I freaking love it.

Finding and leveling up the Titan that best suits your play style gives the game mode a trial-and-error feel so when you find your favorite combination, it's an awesome feeling. Working together with a team adds another element of difficulty--you will undoubtedly fail on the higher difficulties without good team balance and communication.
