Kingdom Hearts, is it any good?

So, i played kingdom hearts when i was young. I don't remember much of it. When i see people mention games that are good, i never see anyone bring up kingdom hearts. I know it's a re-make edition, but still. I'm looking for game too play, should i check it out and why if so?
