I just sold my Xbox One and planned on investing it into a PS4 Pro mainly for the VR. I started to really think about it and I'm more inclined to hold off for now since I have a gaming PC. The PS4 started having my interest when I saw DB FighterZ and Monster Hunter World coming out this January but thinking I'll probably be better off waiting for a good deal.
I haven't kept up with Sony much since the PS3 so I'm completely out of the loop on how they handle price drops and such. Is there a good chance for a deal this holiday for some sort of PS4 Pro+VR bundle? How about just the PS4 Pro?
The VR is the biggest thing on the fence about. The Vive seems good as well, maybe better with the game library, but I would need to upgrade my PC to handle it which could easily cost more. Maybe I'm giving VR more hype than it really is.
