I was quite pleased to see that there were some additional family features in the new firmware update, as I hadn't read anything about the new features until it hit. I have an 8yr old step-son who has his own PSN account that I had to set up so that he could have his own content & transfer online saves between our house & his Dad's house. However, the limitations of the PS4 meant that I couldn't put any parental restrictions in place since it'd lock it out for me too.
I assumed that, with this new family management features, I'd be able to lock down his account to only allow content for a suitable age. So I added him to my "family" yesterday, but when I opened up the family page, all I could do was to view his name/profile. No settings to alter?
So how do I restrict his profile? Do I need to do that from within his own profile? And this prevents it being administered console-wide to all users?
