My PS4 PRO was purchased back last December and I hadn't noticed the issue until now but after testing three different brand routers and several different quality Ethernet cables my PS4 Pro isn't connecting at above 100 Mbps Half Duplex on the LAN.
The Pro supports 1Gbps LAN and when I manually set it to that from the router it says there is no LAN cable connected. It says the same when I try to force 100 Mbps Full Duplex on one of the routers and on the other it just causes the connection to be ridiculously slow with a speed test of 3 Mbps down.
Does it sound like my Ethernet port on the Pro is defective or is the Pro incredibly picky about Ethernet cables or what am I missing here? Anyone else have a Pro and can confirm your router is showing you connected at 1000 Mbps Full Duplex like it should be doing?
