Question about PS4 PRO - need advice please

I have the normal PS4 but would like to upgrade. Do the games that I have already (discs AND digital copies) work on the PRO?

Also, is there any noticeable difference? Visual, performance?

Not really good with this and need to justify the purchase somehow. Thanks!
