South Park PSA: Save bug deleted 6 hours worth of progress for me. How you can avoid it.

I encountered this problem yesterday and lost 6 hours of progress, it fucking sucked.

There is currently a bug in the game where the autosaving icon stays on screen seemingly forever and you can't hop into the menus and manual save. I thought perhaps I was just in a sequence where I wasn't allowed to save and carried on. I placed my console in rest mode and came back the following day and continued. When I finally turned off my console, attempting to continue the autosave resulted in a crash. Upon booting the game again I could only load a save in which I was 1 hour in. Fucking GG.

If your auto save icon is going forever and you can't manual save, then you may be affected. Do not continue playing and reload a previous save if this happens. Save as often as you can so you don't lose progress.

I expected better for something that costs $60.
