I got an update a few minutes ago. It wasn't big (under 200mb), but before installing it did copy files for quite some time. Update history shows two new patches:

Edit: Just started a new game. There's no explicit new setting and the performance seems the same (definitely 30fps). Could be that they upped the resolution, but I have to check out more than the first room to confirm this. A bit bummed if this is everything. Was hoping for higher framerate within the same resolution. But I guess that's too much for the Pro to handle and upscaling with checkerboarding doesn't result in a big performance hit, so they went with that.
