It charges controllers fine, but the primary reason I use rest mode is for it to watch for game updates and download them so that when I boot up the PS4, they've installed already and are ready to go. But this doesn't happen often. Sometimes it does, but a lot of times it doesn't start downloading updates until I get in the PS4. Sometimes it doesn't even download updates unless I manually check each game, app and system/VR individually. Is there something going on, or is this just always a normal thing? It's happened with my old PS4 and my current PS4 Pro.
