Can't load DB Xenoverse saved data from flash drive to system

I recently upgraded from the factory HDD to a 2TB. I backed up my save data to a flash drive. I have successfully loaded the save data to my 2TB for all my games except Dragon Ball Xenoverse. It keeps telling me the data won't load, delete it, and overwrite with new data.

I did a lil googling and it turns out its 'Copy Protected'. This is absolute bullshit. I put a lot of work into that game, too much to just start over.

I read somewhere that if you do a full system back up and restore, you can load copy protected games. Is there any truth to this? I still have my old HDD, so I could do it if it work. I'll just back up the current data to all my other games from my 2TB first. Or are there other methods of being able to successfully copy the data over? Because going back and doing a full system back up and restore between two HDD's is a lot for just one game.
