I have an OG PS4. In the last week or so I am experiencing very high latency in online games, particularly Rocket League and BF1, to the point that they're unplayable. My internet is 30mb down and all our other devices are working fine so I don't think it's the router or modem. I assumed that the problem was WIFI, but when I plugged an ethernet cable into the ps4 I got the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas? I know it's normal for the wifi on a system to go, but why would the ethernet cable not improve things? Is it possible for the network capabilities of a system - both wired and wireless - to crap out?
