I attended a press event last night at Bandai Namco and got hands on time with a VR mission for AC7 and it was one of the best VR experiences I've yet had. No awkward issues with navigation as your character is supposed to be sat down. It made returning to the regular demo units..not bad, but underwhelming.
I went back and tried it a couple times and found the game better to control in VR as well, it might be the first game I've tried where the VR 'portion' is superior to the main game - I've not played Elite Dangerous in VR for reference.
I didn't order a PSVR the second I left the event but I'm a hell of a lot closer now than I was. I'll be doing a write up of the whole event this evening but wanted to get this across directly - it was the absolute show stopper of the evening for me.
