After playing Crash again is there anything you have learned that you didn't know when playing it 20 years ago?

For example I have played Crash through more tes than i'd like to admit but i never knew I could just hold the x button when bouncing on crates to keep the high jump going. I thought I had to depress and press the x button every single time.
