Dead by Daylight vs Friday the 13th Playerbase?

I know, I know, these threads have been done to death...but I'm mostly interested in how both games play on PS4 bugwise and how the communities/playerbases are for both. I know what both games are about and how they're different, but I want to see if one has an advantage over the other in regards to active playerbase and matchmaking etc.
