HELP! Sign in ID change email

So I woke up this morning to an email from sony saying my sign in ID has changed (I did not change it obviously). I hurried up and tried to sign in to my PS4 and now I cant since my ID is invalid! I tried to look at the support website but there is no options for my problem. Has anyone had this happen recently?
