I've only had the PS4 since Christmas 2016 but the problem has been persistent since the first day I used it. Whenever I plug headphones into the controller, the audio cuts out every half a second or so which makes it completely useless. I can't find any decent solutions online but I have read that it has something to do with a newer controller and an update on the PS4. Also, I've even tried the headphone/mic that came with the PS4 itself and the same problem is still there. I've read about connectivity issues but my PS4 is about five feet away from the controller with nothing covering it. I've also read about the "solution" that people claim works which is inserting and removing the headphones rapidly which didn't work for me. I just don't wanna have to spend £50 on another controller cos those things aren't cheap. Any help would be appreciated.
