Apologies if this has been asked before or something, but...
For the past little while, I'd turn on my PS4 on a new day, and it would randomly start up in Safe Mode, despite being turned off correctly the night before and nothing odd happening while playing. Then I'd play some games and it would beep like it's powering down, and just shut off. I could turn it back on, and it would act as if I had put it into Rest, despite it not powering down to the orange light. Just recently it beeped to turn off again, but didn't, but then beeped again and turned off, this time telling me it was turned off improperly.
I want to say that it has only turned off while playing a game, but I can't remember if it has crapped out on the XMB (or whatever it's called now).
It had stopped for a few months, but it's doing it again, and I'm both concerned and annoyed. Any idea what is going on?
