Super annoying glitch with my controller

Essentially on both of my controllers I have came across a glitch that every time I sprint in a game with the left analog stick I stop... it is very annoying. I have tried the 30 click method, dielectric grease (just by spraying it on the analog stick) blowing on it, and pulling the stick up until you hear a click.

I taken my second controller apart but putting it back together was really tuff and i don't think it works anymore.

I want to ignore the solution on dropping 50$ on a controller.

Did anyone come across this glitch? If so how did you fix it.
