Why isn't there proper game-sharing on the PS4 like it used to back on the PS3 days? Or at least like Steam's and Xbox One's game-sharing systems?

To "game share" something with my friend, he has to always log on the account to play my games, he misses out getting trophies, leveling up with me on a MP game, and misses out playing with me since we can't be logged in at the same time. it's not real game sharing at all.

I understand making it mandatory to sign in online to play with a friend's games, but why on earth can't they be allowed to play on their own PSN accounts? This is by far the most offending part of it.

How the hell did Sony manage to do this without causing an uproar? How the hell haven't they implemented a proper game sharing system yet when their competitors, hell, SONY THEMSELVES used to have a much superior game sharing system?
