Moving from PS4 Slim to Pro

Hey guys as the title says i'm getting the PS4 Pro soon just wanted to ask which things i need to take care of before i sell my PS4 Slim i also have an external HDD Pluged in with all my Games on it can i just Plug it on the Pro and use them? of course after i sign in with my acc.
