Hey, sorry if this had been asked before, but Google hasn't solved my problem.
Immediately after start up, my ps4 says it is too hot and shuts down by itself. I can't even get to the home screen.
It is out of warranty, so I opened it to see if the fan was blocked. It looked pretty darn good in there, but I blew it out with compressed air anyway. No luck.
I tried restoring to default settings in safe mode, still gets the same error.
I've read stuff about replacing thermal paste, but that only seems to be a solution if the console is actually overheating, which mine is not... so I'm hesitant to do it (I've never messed with anything like this before this issue).
Any thoughts? My main concern really is trying to retrieve my save data and the games that came with the console if possible.
